Kara is a REALTOR® at KW Realty Metro Center Old Town located in Alexandria serving clients in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas. She is a military spouse who has moved many times and understands the challenges of finding the perfect place to call home!


Our first meeting was at an amazing restaurant, Dok Khao Thai Eatery, in Woodbridge where we brainstormed what kind of images we needed to represent Kara's new brand and personality. We talked over lunch about locations, outfits, props, shot lists and, of course, all the fun and exciting adventures we've had as military spouses! This initial consultation is always important for me to get to know more about my client and for them to know me. It really sets the stage for a relaxed and fun atmosphere on the actual day of the session.


Kara found an amazing home in Old Town Alexandria that offered the look and feel she wanted to portray and booked it for her session. We spent hours capturing images in different outfits, fun eyeglasses and switching between indoor and outdoor spaces because it was so cold! It was a great day and we were able to capture beautiful images that she can use on her website, social media and marketing materials to create a consistent brand that will attract her ideal clients.

Kara's passion for helping military families led to the creation of Homefront PCS, a website dedicated to providing resources for PCS moves.
